Carrier blocking SMS codes

Some carriers block automated SMS messages.

To enable short code messages:

Contact your carrier and ask to enable short code messages.

Common carriers:

T-Mobile

  • Disable content filtering in account settings

  • Wait 24 hours for changes to take effect

AT&T

  • Call 611

  • Ask to disable Smart Limits

  • Request short code access

Verizon

  • Disable SMS spam filtering in My Verizon app or website

  • Content filters → Off

Prepaid carriers

  • Contact support to enable short codes

  • May not be available on all prepaid plans

After enabling:

Wait 24 hours, then request a new verification code.

If codes still don't arrive after 24 hours, contact support.
